The village, a large part of which is a designated conservation area with many period houses and cottages, has a medieval church, two delightful pubs and various interesting gift and antique shops including “The Teapot Factory”, all set in delightful surroundings. Local produce can be found in the traditional butchers, grocers and bakers all of which are within a few minutes’ walk.

Cherry Tree Cottage is eight miles from the market town of Framlingham with its historic castle, church and market square and is within easy reach of the Suffolk Heritage Coast and its many attractions including Minsmere, Aldeburgh and Southwold. An hourly bus service runs to and from the County Town of Ipswich from Monday to Saturday,
